The snail's, slugs and every bug in the neighbourhood like every plant in my garden. They think it's a five star restaurant.

My neighbours have just acquired two lovely large black Orpington chickens which parade around their back garden hopefully eating all their slugs. Trouble is..... the chickens stomp on the pansies with their very big feet ... Lol.

Many years ago when I had a much larger garden I too kept chickens and although they did cause the occassional damage they were such wonderful characters that I had to forgive them.

Think positive, Toto, when the wind blows your pansies won't be flattened as the wind will filter through the holes :) Lovely colour regardless of holes.
