Claytonia sibirica

Claytonia sibirica (Claytonia sibirica)

A tiny plant that flowers for ages - and seeds itself too. Unlike other 'thugs' this one is welcome and easy to control!

It's hardy, too!

It looks very like a hardy geranium, did you buy it or seed it Spritz? I do like tidy plants.

I bought the first one - then it seeded itself! It's a lot smaller than a geranium, DD.

For us in Canada this is deemed a non-invasive boreal wild flower. http://www.fleurssauvages.ca/portulacaceae/claytonia_sibirica.html
Perhaps I'll be able to find a cultivated version that is hardy for the east coast... it's very pretty.
