Think your talents wasted Flower - well not on you garden obviously , ever thought of doing this professionally ? you clearly have an eye for it.

You're much to kind Bonkers. Wish I had that kind of talent and confidence, not to mention book smarts...lol. I would never pass the classes that are required.

Yes Mzgreen, I wouldn't have a garden without that lake, it's where I get the water for my plants and as a added bonus it just happens to look great too, (still wouldn't mind seeing a few fairies too ...lol ).

Ah...looking wonderful... I'm with Bonkers... What's with the "classes" cop out? LOL... ever heard the old saying "those who can...do...those who can't ...teach." ???? go for it...you're a natural...you pick it up like lint! LOL..., you're a jewel Sue ! Love your enthusiasum. Makes me want to try and see my own garden through a new GOY'ers eyes...;-) I've looked at it for so long, I can no longer see what's right, or for that matter, what's wrong with it.

That's the creative curse.... we know what we like, we strive to achieve it, and sometimes we succeed and sometimes we don't...but the worst is when we don't see our successes right away... That's why this site is so great...feedback~~ Your garden is wonderful!

Don't think there are ever any wrongs in a garden Jerri. Anyway, how can Daffs EVER be wrong !! Don't know how it works with your seasons over there, but we have Daffs in Spring (Do I also spy Tulips there as well ?). Nothing like seeing the Daffs come up, you know then that Summer's on it's way !

Well lets help a little here .. work as a gardener and got a call asking do i put plants in ? Of course so I arrive to find 4 Mahonias sat on the lawn with the customer standing there with a plan for an island bed .. what I need you to do is dig this bed out as per the plan and plant these .

The so called designer charged £250 ( $400 ) for a piece of paper so please stop under selling yourself draw up a portfolio of your garden and get out there.. these designers convince others that they are paying for brain power and anyone can dig and put plants in ..really ?

Kinda why I have such a problem with pretentious flower shows where designers charge thousands and pay the workers peanuts.

I truely value your opinions Bonkers as I know you are very well educated in this field. If my job doesn't work out in the near future I will certainly have to give it some serious thought ! I just wish gardening was as popular here as it is there.
