Daphne

This tiny daphne was planted outside an alpine house in a raised bed. There was no label in evidence, so perhaps someone can give us a clue?

Thanks for the suggestion Motinot, I shall look this up 'cos it would be good to know what it is.

That looks like Daphne x susannae (aka Daphne x medfordensis) and I'm guessing the cultivar is 'Tichborne' based on the compact habit. The hybrid is a cross of D. arbuscula and D. collina. It's a very beautiful plant you have there!

When we first moved here Chloris, the garden centre on the main road had a wonderful clump of a miniture daphne & like this one, no name. It became a quest at one time to find it.
