was thinking it's a kookaburra altho have never seen one in real life. A friend told me years ago, how much I'd love the birds in Australia, after she visited there. I'd love to see them

meant to add, that the resemblance to kingfishers is quite noticeable, altho just the colouring is different.

Alandrapal these lovely kookaburras live around my place and we see and hear them daily. The birdlife we see is amazing - I particularly love to see the little blue kingfishers, the sunbirds and the pale-headed rosellas - there are so many beautiful ones.
