Wonderful shot. The flowers popping up in to focus above the foliage. I was just eyeing these at the greenhouse.

Hi Valerie and welcome to GOY!! As to the 'critters' - as you are an awful long way away from here, I'd find it difficult to answer that - I can only suggest that you examine the leaves very carefully for anything obvious, and also take a torch out in the evening to see if it's the work of slugs/snails!
