The petals on this one reminds me of fairy wings. Do you know it's name? It's very pretty.

No name I'm afraid - just a seedling cross. It was the very last bud to open.

Helebore variety ? Orientalis ( Lenten rose ) throws up sub species when left to self seed. Lovely flower.

They certainly are lovely Wagger. I started with one Lentern Rose, but now have a few different ones from the self set seedlings.

It is an Orientalis cross, BB - that's all I had until this year when I added some Niger.
Yes, it's very odd, isn't it, Toto? I thought you needed at least a couple of plants of different colours to get a variety of crosses.
