It can spread quite a bit in the right conditions Sanbaz, but it is not very fast to do so.
I bought some replacements for the ones that got destroyed in my garden. If I remember correctly, they cost £2-34 for six in B&Q. this was with 15% off, so they would still be under £3-00 for six even at the right price.
I really like these Jacque. Mine are only just coming into bud now.
