I love your Checkerboard design, its filling out nice now...

I like the checkerboard also...and have often thought that it might be a good idea here in this cold climate...the pavers would be passive solar energy collectors and the soil would be warmed by them...I also love the orderly neatness of it.. You have a lovely garden.
