Variegated Hosta

I have several hostas in pots in my shady side garden. They do very well but in spite of the gravel the slugs still sometimes breach the defences.

Love this one I also have one the same, but only just beginning to peep through the soil .

Gee i put vasline round top of plant pot & the slugs & snail cant get past it as they slide on it, & cant get a grip on the pots.
