snail Vine flower bud (Phaseolus caracalla)

Very unusual and I can see how it earned its name.

It is very unusual and the shape is very snail-like. It is very hardy and survives some of the lower temperatures during the winter. Of course, we don't have prolonged periods of cold weather. Day here day there.

I thought it was some sort of southern snail first! lol
