I just love these little beauties, too, Lori! For me, they are up there with the snowdrops and primroses!

Thanks everyone... yes their colour is so vibrant but you need a lot of them to make a spot of colour! I wish my primroses had survived the winter...I moved them too late in the season and they didn't have enough time to recover...boo hoo.

These look great Lori. You've got a nice clump established.

Well worth the wait, wasn't it Lori. They are gorgeous !

You have to respect a plant that can take such harsh conditions and still produce such gorgeous blossom! I wait for them every spring and am thankful that I found the inspiration to plant them!

I'm thankful, too, that I was inspired by our garden theme to find a variety which suits it, and re-introduce this marvellous Spring bloom to the garden. Ours have gone over now, and have put their planter aside now, to give them a rest, and to allow them to bulk up for next Spring. :-)
