Here is a photo of the long, narrow bed done one side of the carpark. This was planted up with several colours of Polyanthus &, although nice, doesn't have the visual impact of the central semicircular bed.

It's a lot nicer than what usually happens, which is a collection of fast-food containers and beer cans! Do people respect the planting?

Hi Franl, generally speaking the flowerbeds face very little damage or vandalism. There are occasionally beer/coke cans or wrappings but the most damage, & even that is very slight, comes from people running into the beds with their cars!
I have been taking, quite literally, 100s of photos over the 10 years we have lived here as the shops are right next door to our block of flats.
When I saw your comment I was most surprised as I didn't remember uploading the photo!
