Ah, he is beautiful....we have a LOT of these this time of year...their song is quite nice to hear..

We have lots of finches but mainly greenfinch, Chaffinch or bullfinch

thankyou all, Pansypotter, I'd love to have the chaffinches, bullfinches and greenfinches. We should trade some birds :) Skippy, I agree, the songs of the various finches is very pretty, - the goldfinches are showing off their lovely yellow breeding feathers now too (the males).
