Does anyone recognise the variety? I'm thinking 'Johnsons Blue', but I'm not sure. This one is very vigorous, verging on invasive, but beautiful in full bloom and the autumn colour is not bad either.

Looks very like it, Sid. Mine has buds - when they open, I'll post a photo. Oh, and I'll check on my photos from last year, too.
I'm back! I have a photo taken on 21st May last year, it's 'in my garden' on page 3 at the very bottom... it looks the same as this one!

Actually, it was at the top of page 4 - Barbara have you been adding more plants per chance?! Does look very similar - think mine has slightly more prominent veining, but could well be the same plant all the same. Mine is a big of a thug - is yours?

No - but it was only given to me last year, so it's a mere baby. I had it back in Kent, and yes, it was a bit there. My Geranium x magnificum is definitely thuggish, though!
Sorry about the pages - yes, I confess. I did add a plant or three!
