thats so sweet BB, i was sad today as i found a new born near my bird station ,, think it was a baby blackbird, seems like the magpie finally got to the nest, has been trying this last week, anyway i buried the poor thing and said a little prayer,,

Pleased they are OK BB - its a scarey time at the moment for the baby chicks - lets hope most of them make it.

Rocky and partner now nesting in thick ivy at bottom of the garden and getting lots of mealworms ! : )

Thanks Eileen and Elke....just a little update...now flown the nest a week later and one has been sitting in our apple tree all day,being fed by mum.She flies off to another tree next door then so hoping all well with the other !

Sorry to hear that Dawn,but such is life..so hard out there.: ( We just discovered today three new blackbird nests,and one pair starting all over again ! ) Had to scare off sparrowhawk this afternoon,as it tried to take a baby blackbird.Its a battlefield out there ! : (
