I've got big shrubs and trees either side of the garden Pamd. That might shelter some areas. I get loads of figs from this tree every year.

I've got one in a pot, but perhaps it would do better in the ground.

Oh yes Pamd, plant it in the ground, it will grow so much bigger and quicker. I do not feed mine at all, as they like poor soil.

I liked the purple flowers in the pot
