Thanks Toto and Dawn...I am enjoying my time here so much......as to it being a lot different than where I come from ..it is not all that different...the only thing missing are the really big Mountains..and here where we are it is a bit mountainy too... the culture is different and I am enjoying that very much...the weather is so much the same it is unbelievable...the birds here in the woods at Steve's sing like crazy....I love hearing them...and the walk to Llanwrst is just gorgeous..check out gardenfriends blog of his walk to Llanwrst if you have not seen it ..this is where I have been walking with him..and then some...only now it is spring and literally covered in bluebells and so many beautiful flowers..it is fairy tale like..
Thanks Lindak...it was a gorgeous day at Angelsey that day....

I think a Welsh holiday is the best you can get.

You might as well introduce yourself to this stocker. He doesn't look too dangerous. Looks like the type of guy who might have a sheep on his porch. Sometimes I amaze even myself when I realize that I am psychic, where do these visions come from? I just don't know. LOL Sisty

What a little piece of heaven U got to. Enjoy your time & take lots of photos.

Sisty...you are so silly....lol...he is quite like the type who would have a sheep on his porch and birds in inumerable amounts...the chirping that greeted me when I first stepped out of the car stopped me in my tracks. I could not believe how beautifully they sing here.

It is a piece of heaven here Doon...just so lovely...everywhere you look or listen..even in the rain..and wind...and in the evenings of cooler days there is always the cozy little fireplace inside to enjoy.... :)

Does sound nice on a windy rainy night.............esp with a lovely hot bowl of sticky toffee pud and custard x-) How long you got in Welsh Wales then?

19 May, 2009

Oh yes the sticky toffee pudding is fun....along with the fire...and not long enough...lol...

Glad you are having a lovely time over here - enjoying good company & good gardens too I hope. Just don't get hooked on the sticky toffee pudding - leads to ruination ;-)

Sounds like a perfect place to be. The pictures are gorgeous!
We took a couple of days on Whidbey Island this week. Made me think of you a lot. So glad you're enjoying Wales.

I am back home again now....darn..well we are planning for me to go back in another couple of months, after I finish up things here in Washington State...I will have to come and go for a while I think..going there only made me want to go back..miss my dear Knight something terrible...and I only just got home...17 hours ago...oh dear...web cam is not half so good anymore...

27 May, 2009

I'll be glad when you get all the work here behind you so you can go back and relax. You're still my hero!

28 May, 2009

Well the work here won't be so hard this time..just have to get things in order with odds and ends..and talking to people about the house as far as getting it advertised etc..had a couple of inquiries while I have been gone..but with the bridge and ferries in such a mess ..no body really wants to be here...the bridge should open again in about another week...that will make it easier to get people here to lease the house for vacation....I plan to do gardening...my neighbor up the street offered me a bunch of her daisies..gonna go up there and get those tomorrow...just up the block. I am walking back and forth to the grocery...am letting horse friend use my truck until the bridge opens...sure do not need it here...can walk anywhere I need to go...makes me feel good after doing so much walking at GF's.. need to keep it up, so I told horse friend to keep the truck over there in Edmonds, makes life easier for him to not have to drive around.
