Crataegus laevigata 'Crimson Cloud'

Crataegus laevigata 'Crimson Cloud' (Crataegus laevigata (Midland hawthorn))

I love the colour of the blossom on this tree, which I planted just over two years ago.

I actually went to the Nursery for a 'Paul's Scarlet' but the guy there told me I would like this one...and he was right!

its nice when they know their plants, all too often they are just shop assistants. thats more true of garden centres though rather than nurseries.

I am on first name terms with him - he's very helpful. :-) He makes GOOD suggestions. I am not being silly, here, I mean it in a good way.

What else?

See who else is growing Crataegus laevigata (Midland hawthorn).

See who else has plants in genus Crataegus.

This photo is of "Crataegus laevigata 'Crimson Cloud'" in Spritzhenry's garden
