Thanks Milky. Yes it was. These and daisies are the only things that grow in my grass. Whoops, forgot the moss, clover and numerous other weeds.

Fine last couple of days Spritz,but heavy rain forecast tonight and much of tomorrow !

Weather here is fine Spritz. We have had a little rain but so far it has come at night. The worst element we had was fairly high wind which lasted a few days and managed to break a few plants and took a few of the new (flowering) stems off the Philadelphus.

Oh well, maybe that means that our rain is moving north - or maybe the whole country is going to be wet! Sorry about your Philadelphus, though, Toto. :-(

I took Henry out and was soaked from my feet upwards... at least I have a waterproof jacket! I needed it today...and yesterday... :-(

We've had some really good downpours with thunder now and again. This picture reminded me of when I was a child I used to blow on the seedhead saying....one o'clock two o'clock three o'clock until all the seeds were gone. We used to call the thistle seedheads fairies as they blew around.

Glad it brought back happy memories Lindak.
