Wallflowers have been a blessing in my garden. They give the earliest colour with the Leopards Bane. The aroma is also stunning. Thanks.

Thx Flcrazy. When I started this garden 10 yrs. ago I was told, you NEVER put orange & red in your garden by very snobby gardeners, well guess what, that is exactly what i did. I love bright colours & today my garden surpassed theirs by miles hehh hee!!

Doon, do you cut those wallflowers down short after flowering, please ?

Yes I do give them a very good haircut, as they are prolific "seeders" I leave some with seedheads where I want them to reseed. They R such a pleasure in the garden, also the fragrance is terrific. They also do great in dry unfriendly conditions. Wallflowers is a great bonus in my garden. How R U Terratoonie, haven't seen u for a while/

Beautiful picture - all the best gardens have orange and red in them put there by the best gardeners. Just have a look at some of the best British gardens - Great Dixter for instance.

Another beautiful scene. And look at the size of the dicentra in the background!!! Gives a good idea why they are called dutchmans breaches as well. Looks like rows of them on the line. :-)
