Thanks all :) This was the first thing we saw when we got there and I took many photos of him. I informed him that I could photograph him all day long, but that I had others to visit ;~)

Just beautiful. you can understand why all the large english country houses used to have these in their gardens, so much more impressive than chickens scratching around! lol

I love the peacock with the wonderful blue of the feathers. I painted a picture of one a long time ago. It was very difficult to do but it certainly made me take a close look at the feathers.

We had a peacock in our garden last year & I "stormed" it and chased it like a mad woman, as they take dust baths in your garden & make one big mess, so it was immediately discouraged. Although they R pretty.
