It's about four years old, Louise, grew far more than I expected so attacked it with my pruning saw in February. I will certainly keep on top of it in future, I don't mind foregoing the flowers - it's the foliage I grow it for. I have only just noticed the dicentra still flowering in the background - a happy accident, GG<

Here we are, found it at last !!!!!
This picture shows it at about the height mine was when i bought it .... i've only had mine about a year, i think.
Is that the same plant just to the right of the picture ?

Yes, it all looked a bit sparce at that stage but soon filled out.
