Fabulous Spritz. Please cut out the "fat" comments in future Tosh or I'll take you to the County Fatism Court..

30 May, 2009

This border is colourful and must be attracting lots of nectar loving insects.
Where is the country fatism court? In the cave of Ali Baba with the open Sesami seed door.

Looks like the weather will be with you Spritz. Should get that Magnificum into full bloom in time. Do like your 'stuffed' border - not an inch spare.

30 May, 2009

You are so right, Wagger! My husband laughs when I say there's a space...he can't see one!

30 May, 2009

If the border is stuffed with plants the weeds haven't much of a chance have they. Good luck with the open garden Spritz.

Thank you Linda - I still get the dreaded Hairy Bittercress - it hides from me under the plants!!!! Very sneaky. :-(

31 May, 2009

No one will notice Spritz they'll just meander round and enjoy your beautiful garden and come away quite refreshed.

31 May, 2009

Best of luck Spritz, though you won't need it. Your garden says it all. With you in spirit if not in body.

I do hope so.

We went NGS-ing again this afternoon and I found more Geraniums for my collection!!! Way-hay! 'Nimbus', 'Spinners' and another 'Bill Wallis'! What a find!! A refreshing break, a nice piece of apple cake and a very productive and reasonably priced plant stall. A great afternoon. :-)

This is lovely - very inspirational. Good luck with the open day.

I like garden visiting but haven't had time this past year and a bit because of the house move but you can pick up some very interesting plants that you can't seem to find at the garden centres.

2 Jun, 2009

Linda - that is absolutely true! I hope people who see the plant stall here will go away happy, as well. My friend is running it, but I have grown or propagated a whole lot of plants that you wouldn't find at a GC.

another peice of inspirational planting spritz.

2 Jun, 2009

Aaawww...thanks! :-)

2 Jun, 2009

Yes, really gorgeous! I see why its a favorite. :-)

It's hard work isn't it SPritz, when I opened my garden I used to propogate loads of plants to sell and we had several stalls as well including home made cakes. It's also very satisfying though and your helping others with the money you raise too. Well done.

Thanks Linda - we couldn't do much yesterday as we were both exhausted, but, yes, it was satisfying!
