Aquilegia

Your photo of the Aquilegia is really beautiful but I do not usually do oh isnt it beautiful comments. On the top white petal it looks as though there are two purple eyes. So the yellow stamen below it must be the nose. There is a dangly bit at the bottom which is an anther but it looks like a runny nose hence my silly comment - sorry if it confused you.

Eerrrrrrmmmm - ooohhhh yeahhhhh....... LOL he he...I see what you mean now GF, though I'd never have seen it without your explanation ;-) Don't worry about confusing me - it happens ALL the time............
