Lovely, I don't think I've seen this one before!

Neither have I Paul, nor since. Got it in Homebase years ago, another expensive plant!

It's worth the expense if they last like this and particularly when such an unusual variety!

Not an expense - an investment.

I love that one, I've never seen that colour before either. I am waiting for one of mine to flower, it is supposed to be pink and white striped, only in it's second year though.

This is beautiful, too. I'd LOVE a camelia, not sure where to put one though. Would it be okay in a pot? I know they don't like morning sun.

Thanks Jan. I've had mixed success with camellias. This one has always been happy in the ground (sun from mid afternoon on in summer, none in winter) Nice compact growth only about 5' in 6 years. Have had several others in pots which all went in the ground eventually, either because they got too big to repot or they were looking unhappy. Only 1 is still alive. The good thing about pots is that you can have them where you can see them when in flower (but not is morning sun as you say) and then move them to a shady spot for the summer. Also have one which was in a west facing border and is now much happier in a pot on a north wall. So it's a case of try it and see! Good luck
