I have this plant but without the red in it?

I think it can go reddish in the autumn - but this one has stayed red!! Is it trying to tell us something? lol.

Jo - I fell for this last week from the plant stall, and my friend who ran the stall said exactly the same! I have run out of containers, so in the border it went!

It does usually go these coppery red tints in autumn. Quite probably my favourite grass.

If you want to see it used at it's most dramatic, they have planted the green form of it en-mass outside the new greenhouse at Wisley. Everyone loved it as the wind was moving through it flicking the stems into the most amazing waves and swirls.
