A nice long lawn with mertensia in the wild grass at the lower bank. I love our 'bluebell' in the grass like this. Tufts of blue. The plant clumps get large and sprawling decreasing the impact of the blue blossom.

We bloom in a big rush. Everything at once. This is our spring, maximum at Solstice. To follow are many more. I'm collecting our wild flowers for the garden this year. :-)

Good way to see it. I groom the area more than mow, hand picking just what I don't want to see, to encourage what I do. :-) Those natural treasures usually reward you spoiled like that.
