Thanks folks :-) The pinky-red behind is a Rhododendron - it's still got quite a few flowers, but they are quickly going over now.

Nice one Sid - It looks like tradescantia Andersonia. (See seed advert that appears on the right of my screen with your photo). Did you grow it from seed? I can't find a picture of this displayed by a GOY member before. What prompted you to plant this variety of spiderwort?

Yes, I think you're right Gf. I didn't grow it from seed.....I think it was a freebie from quite a few years ago - I've split the clump and now have several clumps here and there. There is a nice variety around with identical flowers but golden-yellow foliage, which is quite stunning. Don't have that one tho.
