Zantedeschia (Zantedeschia aethiopica (Arum lily))

On the stream bank - it has two open flowers and several buds! :-)

Gorgeous! Did you plant this or is it wild in your area?

I planted it - they don't grow wild in the UK, I'm afraid!

I wanted the stream bank to have flowers instead of brambles and nettles - so I dug the whole lot over and planted marginal plants there. This is the second summer for them. The Ligularia has 12 buds on it this year! Can't wait for it to flower... :-)

That's a Primula vialii, Sandra. They are lovely - they seem to enjoy the dampness as well.
