I have trouble every evening, when it is time for him to go to bed. Sometimes takes me 20 minutes or more before I spot him.

I had the same trouble many years ago when i had 2 tortoises....they would go and bury themselves somewhere in the garden.....

The two 'girls' put themselves to bed about 4.30 - 5pm every evening but Little 'Un runs around until I give him some extra food (he's a growing lad!) and then he dozes off!
