That's funny Jacque I'd just taken a photo of a teasel in my garden with my Fennel plants and was going to upload it!
My fennel and teasels are huge. I think they're trying to reach the sky!

I have just posted a photo of the top half of the plant Dawnsaunt! Difficult to photo whole plant as they are at back of border with lotys of plants in front of them! They are about 7 feet or so tall!

Yes simple Lilymac but biennials so won't flower till the year after sowing.

I have one in the garden which I grew from seed collected in the wild. Without any exageration it is around 8ft. high and the heads are now turning mauve or possibly purple!

Yes, the picture on the seed packet of mine show a glorious mauve/pink type colour so I'm looking forward to that and then, hopefully but not likely, finches in the Autumn/winter to eat the seeds!

If they don't you will have lots more teasels.

Yes, that's for sure. Then I won't know which are weeds(from bird seed) and which are Teasels!
