Oi, forget the worms....

Just given Flip & Flop my goldfish some lettuce they love it, i was told i could give them a peice of cucumder, but they never touched it so had to fish it out, but lettuce they love.

would you like some snails lol, i could send you loads

No thank you, Irish, very generous of you but NO! Unfortunately tortoises don't like garden pests any more than I do :)

We used to give red clover to our tortoises when we were kids. Do yours like those Gee ?

My three eat any colour clover, Hywel! My lawn is full of 'weeds' so that they can graze as much as they like, but they still eat my plants :)

Yes TT my fish love it especially the heart of lettuce, my friend as tropical fish, and they give them cucumber, you should see them in their tanks going at it, they only eat the inside of the cucumber and leave the green outter part.Suppose to be good for them.

I have tropical fish, Clarice, and I didn't know that! I will give it a try :)

I forgot i also know someone who as a great big pond with carp & goldfish & he always gives lettuce to his fish infact as he as got so many he throws a full lettuce in at a time.If i can get catch the fish eating it i will take a photo TT, i suppose its like them eating the plants thats in the pond.
