Candyfloss

I don't know what this plant is! It grows to about 5' high and has these fluffy flowers on the top of each stem. I cut it back to ground level in the autumn and in spring it sprouts up again. It's sited in a very wet patch of garden and thrives so I love it :)

Could it be filipendula I wonder. It looks similar. Maybe someone will confirm that ( or otherwise )
