You can't see his red head on the full door and sadly the yellow on his cheeks and wing tip have faded. He's been there 9 years now and I get the full force of the sun from morning till night on him, he must be so dehydrated by now poor chap LOL

The detail is really wonderful and I really do think that the paint I mentioned in your other photo would work very well.

You're right Terra LOL. I think the shadowy ghost behind him frightened all his yellow feathers into moult.................:o)
