LOL...reminds me of a trip up the fire tower in Dorset, Ontario, Canada...I was fine until it was time to come back down...looking down thro slatted steps gave me vertigo... a phobia I never knew I had!

Same with me too, Lori, lol!! Wonder why this should be? Yet, was back up here in August, doing the same. And, oh, how the structure sways with the wind or all those folk going up and down. :-))

OMG!!!! I'd be immobilized! I had a similar problem with the suspension bridge over the Lynn Valley Canyon in B.C.... one of the fellas with us thought it was great fun to jump up and down in the middle of the suspension... There was a gap of about three inches between the wooden floor of the bridge and the wire lattice sides... It was horrible! I was terror stricken and they all thought it was sooo funny!

That was very cruel, Lori. I had a similar experience on such a bridge once - not funny. :-(

Yes, I remember feeling righteously indignant...but I survived. I have flown in small aircraft and in huge jets...heights don't bother me if I'm strapped into a seat!...but when there's only a thin piece of plywood between my feet and the bottom of a huge gorge...it get very tense!
