Thanks Irish - they are rather lovely flowers. It's a pity the tree is so tall and the flowers so high up - makes it difficult to truly appreciate their beauty.

Ha - so right. I do take an awful long time going to get the mail from our mailbox at the front of our property - it's a long driveway and I spend a good deal of time looking up at our trees!!

Thanks TT - they are a quite pretty bright pink with a yellow orange throat that fades to a dull pink with age.

Flowers which change colour like that have a special attraction..
