Sandra:
I guess I better not show off some of the larger cacti gardens around Southern California. LOL!
Huntington Gardens in San Marino (Los Angeles Area) has very old specimens of large cacti in their very impressive dry garden -- it's many acres.

Thanks!

Sandra:
I haven't been to Huntington Gardens in more than 3 years...and I've been planning on going since last late summer... I hope to get there soon. I'll be sure to take many photos of the large cacti there for you.
When I go to the San Francisco Bay Area...I'll have to go toThe Berkeley Botanical Garden. They have some very large old cacti also.

The grasses look good. My wife doesn't like ornamental grasses due to allergies..but they sure fit in with cacti and succulents.
I just saw that very grass someplace close..and thought how nice it looked. THEN,I found this today!

The grasses do look well together with the cacti. This is an old pic, it was posted more than 10 years ago. Wow!
