He he well Milky as Eileen has helped to identify this as a bird I ll now be able to go a bit further..was struggling at first thought it might be a fish but no sure Eileen is right .

Its a warbler of some type but they all so very similar my guess would be sedge warbler rather than reed warbler as stripe over eye more pronounced ..you still awake ? lol

Well......now this is what I missed while I was away........Thanks Bonkers and Tasteyg....I think its one of the warbler too, but the speckles under the neck was confusing me.....Irish and Toto..........I shall deal with you both later ha ha ha ha ....

Oh must be an Essex thing ..find it interesting that Ray able to stay awake whilst fishing sort of thing I would drift off to .. lovely spot where you went was it Devon ?

Yes Bonkers...very near to Okehampton.....its lovely down there I think the only reason Ray does manage to stay awake is the fact that the fish were taking his line too often, so he had to keep watching the float.......
