It is Austrocylindropuntia cylindrica. It is a
common cactus here that grows to 15 feet/ 4.5
meters tall. : > )

i have a big one of these but never had the flowers...maybe next year...but i love its spines they are so huge..

Yes, the spines are pretty long. A person wouldn't want
to fall into this plant...or they would be in a World of hurt.
