A good picture showing the amazing growth of this past month (May-June.) That spinach was so wonderful!

This looks great. What timber did you use & how did you join the planks so the sides don't leak out soil and bow in the middle?

My husband constructed these, so I may not be completely accurate on the details, but I know he used treated lumber (I prefer all natural, but I did want it to last too...lesser of two evils here.) It is reinforced at the joints and centres with a crosspiece screwed into the inside of the box to prevent bowing and leaking. He used only screws, no nails, so it is very solid. Any other questions, I'll ask him. He isn't home for me to ask right now.

Something for me to aspire too! v impressive. What have you used bwtween the beds as a path? I am starting from scratch on a lawn (to be dug!)

We put down a landscape cloth and then covered it with pea gravel. I am looking for some decorative stepping stones to put on that, but the gravel has been working well in the meantime.

Fantastic raised beds
when you filled them, what did you use ?? did you line the boxes with anything??
great inspirational photos xx thank you

I did not line the boxes. I filled them with composted soil and that was about it. There is a liner down under the boxes and gravel to avoid any weeds coming up from under. I haven't had more than a handful of weeds all year.
