Fuschia Gartenmeister before the Daisies

Nice flowers & bright colour, too!

Thanks Balcony. Its a nice dark plant and bright flowers. This year didn't do quite as well as last. Indoors the flowers are very pale in comparison but it has started blooming again. This triphylla type is much more happy with heat and light, happier as a houseplant than most fuschia..

I might give that a try with my Fuchsia Thalia, it's a triphylla type as well.

As another point, last year I tried to overwinter with the other fuschia in a low light low water as the others were going dormant, this one died. I does like to keep growing if indoors.

This is only the 2nd time ever that I've grown a Fuchsia triphylla. The first was some years ago & I think it probably lasted 2 years. I'd have to go back & look through all the photos of Fuchsias I have stored on my computer. Not that it will be hard work as I have a folder for each kind of plant I grow & I always save any new photos in their corresponding folder.

Wow, that is very organized. I should do something more like that to keep them together, but I have GOY to help me. I can add them to my garden and then just link each photo I put in to the plant. I spend time on that in winter. Then my garden can be photos and info for anyone that googles it! I love that!
