The others are following quickly after. The show at the front bed has begun. And the blooms, still that wonderful bergamot fragrance.

Goodnight Gilli. I wish we had hummingbird. What a joy they are! My bee's had paid it no mind that I can see. Aphid like it........lol. They like everything this year.

Aren't the aphids awful this year??? We are the same down here.
I'm surprised the bees are giving your bee balm a miss. Mine are covered in bees of all kinds. There are some bumblebees that are almost as big as my thumb that love it.

They are awful, I'm trooping around peaking into everything everyday just to hold them back. I still have all my wild fireweed blooming and the bee's choose that over everything. Once the seed starts, I pull it all out, and they'll start visiting the other flowers.

See who else is growing Monarda didyma (Bergamot).
See who else has plants in genus Monarda.

ONe of my favourite plants. Do you get hummingbirds up there. They love the red bee balm down here and are at them all the time.
Good night GT......I'm off to bed. :o)
