Ah you grow bauhinia, Bernieh? I've recently aquired some seed, thats the tree orchid, is that right? Would appreciate some growing instructions...

Over here Amblealice, bauhinias are very easy to grow and don't need special treatment. There are hundreds of species but on the whole they like fertile, well-drained soils. They do best in full sun positions, with protection from frost and cold winds. Pruning is not usually required, but can be done after flowering if necessary. Most bauhinias often have poor foliage and they need proper feeding to have nice leaves.
