Pleased to see these two visitors back again, so tame too just follow me around the garden until I put down food for them.

lol no I kept them in my out house, use to lock them up at night and let them out in the morning leaving the door open so they could come and go as they pleased they were fan tail doves.

Funny you should mention dove cote as a wood yard over the road from me has just opened and its making dove cotes

I love them when we lived at the cottage a neighbour on the lane had one it was fascinating to see the doves who all seem to have their own roost.

Oh Collared Doves! Lovely, so shy and bonny....we had a pair for years, Darby and Joan....they used to bring their babies to the garden, but I think one of them is now a widow/er, we only had the one over winter.
Lovely garden, PP, really peaceful...and NEAT!
