Finally did some gardening

Got home today about 2.45 pm and it was dry so I decided to change and get out quick before it started to rain again. I was just beginning to dead-head the roses (never seem to get past this job these days), when the rain came on again. I emptied the wheelbarrow and took it back to the garage. I was just going to drop my spare glasses in the greenhouse but while I was there I suddenly thought – I could pot on some plants. I did, I spent a good hour moving things on and it felt good!; finally, got some gardening time in!
When I came into the house my daughter said, hard luck mum, caught out by the rain again but I knew better!

It's so frustrating, this rain. Loads of jobs to do but too wet to do them. Ah well, maybe tomorrow (or not)

I know how you feel, I am itching to just sit in my garden this year but I don't think its going to happen, its such a shame as everything is looking so nice and I just want to be amongst it all, never mind, there is hope yet...
