Beautiful cones.

The cones are what is most attractive on this tree. They start purplish blue and change to tan as they mature.

I found this tree very showy.... with nice green needles/leaves-white beneath and handsome blue cones .

Thank you for the information. I am glad to hear that it is a slow grower. I just bought it this spring and it is only 3 maybe 4' Ideally, I would like to see it 10 feet in 15 years. After that it probably would not matter to me :-)

It almost looks like a young Norfolk Island Pine tree (Araucaria heterophylla).
