Yes, good idea! I've never been to GWL...perhaps one day. you can fly from Dundee to Birmingham so it would be possible.

Lol !...Going in 2 weeks, and am sure there will be a few garden centres on the way back to raid ! Barnard Castle is our destination (taking my mum and Bella the dog ). Do you know of any gardens we can visit Karen ? Am looking on line but it would be good if some were recommended.... bearing in mind of course the dog complicates matters !Though have been assured by the cottage owners, that there are places we can take her.:o)

Oh yes, I've been to Barnard Castle, a few years ago, on the way home from somewhere further south. I'm trying to think what is near there, it's way up in the North...not too far from Durham etc....mmm....and yet a long way from anywhere...a lovely middle of nowhere place with beautiful countryside all around. Nope, I have no idea. Best to consult the yellow book I think Judy!

Will do thanks Karen..

Lovely Karen. I have one in a pot - it seems very reliable (i.e. doesn't "scorch" like some Acers). :)
