I put a pic up last week of mine looking the same, then we had torrential rain, howling wind, thunder and lightening...the following morning all i had was bare branches :<(

I bought this one last year only a small one didn't want to spend to much in case it didn't survive , they don't usually do well here with the wind, but thought I'd try one in the wood entrance and pleased to say it's doing great. Can't wait till it looks this good !
