Akebia quinata

Akebia quinata (Akebia quinata (Chocolate vine))

This poor thing has been in a pot for 2 years now, and is desperate to be planted so it can clothe that north facing wall! It got dry last year and had to be hard pruned, but it’s romping away again. Akebia is a big climber, it needs space.

Yes, Chocolate Vine Shirley, but the burgundy form. Me too Ange. Thanks Kate. A few more weeks and it will be planted.
